It's been almost a month since we've heard any news on the sunspear skills. Those of us who took the time to max the title are still waiting . . .

Any tidbits of information would be appreciated!

Gaile has been silent since she got really upset in that one huge thread. I can understand why she got upset, I just wish she wouldn't take things personally...I doubt that more than 1 or 2 isolated comments were meant towards her. But yeah, seriously, where are these skills?

Seriously, Gaile Grey is apparently part Dev/part CR. That what she claims, anyways. Alex Weekes left after receiving an offer from another company (some speculate that he wanted to jump ship, hehe). He has been replaced with Michael Kelton as the new European CR. One question: Has anyone ever seen Michael Kelton or Andrew Patrick, the other CR?

On topic, I'm kinda annoyed that Gaile has been mum about the PvE-only skills. I'm kinda annoyed that Gaile has been mum period...

And I've seen her rarely post here and the odd post on gwo. They all seem to be "cute" posts where she's joking with the community rather than anything that actually has any thing to do with game play *shrug*

My guess is that each profession will get 2 unique skills: One skill at r6 (breaking point for "A Hero Shall Lead Them,") and one skill at r8 (breaking point for Hard-Mode only Sunspear progression), with both of them scaling linearly to r10. If it's only one skill per profession, I'll be dissappointed, given the time taken.

Oh my, I can understand why she wouldn't post when I read such things. Also, why is it that Anet NEEDS to put forth this type of info. Do all of you NEED to know everything before it goes live?

My guess is that your guess is wrong, not one single pve only skill is tied to a profession yet so why would that change for this. In fact the dev chat may have addressed this as well, but they may have only been talking about the title based pve skills in gwen only.

I paid for all three of the campaigns: I don't think asking politely for information is an absurd request on my part.

Like Great said, it was only one or two people doing it and although they were jerks and most definitely got out of line, the reason they did it, from what I can tell is that they were getting annoyed with her skirting around their questions or just lying about it. Even I was getting irritated and I'm the one who has to constantly get on my guildies about blaming her for every update they might not favor.

He mostly likely got a job working on Fury, and that's probably a better place for Alex. Fury seems to be more of what Anet originally intended their PvP to be.

Gaile seems a tad bitter, so maybe she should look to move away from the CR position toward something less stressful. Maybe Anet could get someone who does both PvP and PvE enough to communicate and understand the entire GW population? (I know Gaile does some PvP, but we're all aware she's a PvE carebear at heart. That's why she enjoyed posting on Guru and GWO so much.)

I imagine the skills will be released with GW:EN, as they have said. The PvE skills that they've mentioned probably ARE the GW:EN new skills.
